We are excited to announce that plans are being finalised for our next Level One Coaching Courses in Cork. These courses are a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your coaching career and contribute to the development of rowing talent within your club.

Cork Course Dates:

  • Sunday, 24th of November
  • Sunday, 1st of December

In addition to the in-person sessions, further online evening modules will be scheduled in the weeks following the course dates. To complete your certification, we will arrange a two-hour, one-on-one, on-the-water session in your locality as part of the final assessment before Christmas.

Throughout the course, participants will explore coaching best practices, gaining the skills needed to support and develop rowing athletes both on and off the water. This course is the second step on the Rowing Ireland ‘Coaching Pathway’ and will qualify you as a Level One Coach in your club.

Upon successful completion, you will be certified to coach Junior 12 to Junior 18 athletes, as well as adult rowers from novice to intermediate levels. With over 25 hours of learning—including online lessons and practical sessions focused on strength & conditioning, rigging, and coaching practice—the course offers excellent value at €320.
