The 2025 World Rowing Under 19 Championships will take place from 6–10 August in Trakai, Lithuania. As the pinnacle international event for junior athletes in the classic discipline, the regatta will welcome 594 athletes from 47 countries.
The World Rowing Under 19 Championships are the pinnacle event of the year for junior athletes in the classic rowing discipline, bringing together rising stars from over 65 nations. This year’s regatta marks a return to Trakai, the historic Lithuanian town and UNESCO heritage site that last hosted the event in 2017. Set on the scenic Lake Galvė — a natural lake famed for its deep waters and spectacular castle views — the course offers a world-class stage for the next generation of elite rowers.
Ireland will be represented in five boat classes, featuring a mix of returners and promising new talent drawn from clubs across the country.
