Rowing Ireland is delighted to confirm the athletes who will represent Ireland at the 2025 Home International Beach Sprints, taking place on Saturday, 20th September at Narin Beach, Portnoo, and proudly hosted by Loughros Point Rowing Club.
The team was selected following strong performances at last Sunday’s Loughros Point Beach Sprint Regatta, which acted as the official qualifier event. The regatta saw the return of the dynamic Beach Sprint format — a fast-paced coastal discipline combining a beach start, rowing course, and a final sprint back to the finish line on the beach.

CW1x – Miriam Sheehan (Castletownbere RC)
CM1x – Luke Nunan (Courtmacsherry RC)
CJW1x – Gabrielle O’Donoghue (Rosscarbery RC)
