Emma started rowing as a novice in 2019 with the University of Galway. She Won gold in the SW2- and SW8+ at the International Homes Regatta in 2022.

Emma competed at the NCAA Championships with Rutgers University (2022–2023) and the University of Washington (2024–2025), where she is currently pursuing an MSc in Communications and Leadership.

Emma raced in the Women’s Four at the 2025 World Championships in Shanghai, where they secured a top ten finish.
