Loughros Point Rowing Club regrets to announce the cancellation of the Beach Sprint Regatta, which was due to take place on Saturday, 5th July 2025 at Narin Beach, Portnoo.
Following a thorough review of the latest weather forecast and the Small Craft Warning issued by Met Éireann, the Organising Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the event in the interest of safety for all athletes, coaches, volunteers and spectators.
This decision was not taken lightly, and we understand the disappointment this may cause to those who had planned to attend and take part. However, the safety of everyone involved must always come first.
We would like to thank all clubs, competitors and supporters for their understanding, and we appreciate your continued support.
