The Rowing Ireland staff recently completed Disability Inclusion Training delivered by Active Disability Ireland. This comprehensive and insightful programme provided our team with essential knowledge, practical strategies, and a deeper understanding of how to make rowing more inclusive and accessible for individuals with disabilities. Through this training, staff explored ways to identify and remove barriers to participation, improve communication, and foster a more welcoming environment for people of all abilities.
At Rowing Ireland, we are committed to ensuring that our sport is open, supportive, and inclusive at every level from grassroots to high performance. Completing this training marks a significant step in our ongoing efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the rowing community.
